Murq hit level 1 during the Cotillion, making him a level 1 dwarf. When the 5th expedition starts prepping, I'll see what he can trade that mithril bar for.

How should clerical spells be determined? I found a post in the recruitment thread about magic user spells, but the instructions there don't really apply to clerics (for example, clerics don't have a minimum number of spells based on Int).

I'd be keenly interested in a spot in group 2.

At risk of captioning the obvious, I just wanted to state that Jed and Murq are waiting for the fifth expedition rather than stumble around blinding looking for the group .

Jed takes some time to watch the dancers, see if he can pick it up. If it doesn't seem too terribly complex, he will look someone without a partner or some other opportunity to join in.

Jed examines the double doors. If nothing catches his eye, he continues around the outer ring to try the east door. If it is open and he is otherwise unhinered, he will pass through it. If it should happen to be locked as well, then he will try the same thing with the west door.

"That sounds very ... familiar. Speaking of companions, I've enjoyed our talk, but I should get back to seeking Somnos, then my companions." Unless she seeks to detain him, Jed will head for and pass thought the double-doors to the north, passing through a half-door if need be.

"Somnos, yes; I should be seeking him out, yet I find your company pleasant. If it isn't rude to ask, what darkest need caused you call out to Him?"

Given the cat was on the edge of the fountain, can Jed now take a closer look at it the fountain? Peer into it's depths? And the woman in the full moon mask, is she in the same section with Jed?

Jed will scan through the revelers he can see from where he stands, looking for anyone wearing a mouse, moth, hare or frog mask.
