A snack procured, Aloysius proceeds to eat it at the front of the general store, keeping a close eye on the store patrons and wanderers on the street just outside.

He peers and the milk depot and general store, and considers perhaps buying something eat.

Aloysius will leave a message with his wife. He already has a gun and ammo on him, and a few knives. Nothing else seems needful.

No worries. I was thinking more along the lines of flammability than social anything. Fire around dry newspapers seemed like a bad idea.

Aloysius considers lighting up, but it's probably not a good idea to do it inside. In expectation, the unlit cigarette is being twiddled by the fingers of his left hand.
