Atticus gets ready to back pedal up the stairs

"What are they! Maybe the magic in the room upstairs will kill them."

The priest laughs "I guess I've got used to it. When you were on a march you'd be thankful for any break and food."

"It does make sense to take a quick peek down the stairs. Ultimately, it is likely we might end up having to go both ways."

The priest accepts the tea and offer of magical food enhancement.

"Thank you Hellebore, trail food can get a little bland." he says with a smile.

Stobart whispers to Renna

"Let's backup Dredd and Magdal."

He steps up behind Dredd and keeps an eye down the corridor at the light.

Arram returns from checking the area to find everyone else enjoying their lunch.

He sits quietly and eats his lunch.

"I agree we should take the altar route, it is likely to be the most direct route."

Cool. I'm going to have him carry a large dagger on his belt, even if he's not proficient. it'll be good for cutting things like ropes and poking things he does want to touch.
